London 2012 - Avoiding Olympic Traffic Congestion.

by Andy Bland 10. January 2012 04:17
If you are running a major global operation from a busy commercial city like London, the last thing you want disrupting your business is an international event such as the Olympics taking place on your doorstep.

The Olympics will bring business and clients to the UK, boosting the economy and giving London companies a big lift. However, whilst there are benefits, there will also be some disadvantages such as congestion and volumes of people bringing overcrowding to public transport networks, grid lock to the road network and a lack of plane tickets serving domestic and international routes.

Keeping to your regular transport arrangements during this period is going to be a challenge in this two month period. At Aero Alliance, we believe we have a corporate solution to this problem keeping firms who need to travel free from congestion offering a fast means of transport in and out of London from all parts of the UK, Europe and beyond. Heathrow's Third Runway Fully Operational.

by Andy Bland 7. January 2012 07:21
There has been much debate and controversy about when Heathrow's third runway is going to be built. So it may come as a big surprise to everyone, but Aero Alliance would like to point out that “Heathrow's third runway” already exists and is fully operational between the hours of 07:00 and 22:00, seven days a week.
For executive businessmen arriving at Heathrow we can provide a connecting service to an aircraft ready to fly at a price which is cost effective. From walking through the arrivals gate at Terminal 5, we can have a limousine driver deliver you to an active private runway 10 miles from Heathrow in less than 25 minutes where a plane will be on standby to fly you to where ever you want to go in the UK, Europe and beyond. Holland in a Day - by Air Taxi

by Andy Bland 1. January 2012 01:59
During the Christmas holiday period, we were tasked to fly a Hong Kong businessman and his family from Shoreham to meet Dutch friends and relatives in the town of Eelde. Our client was flying into Gatwick from Trinidad, staying with his daughter in Brighton for Christmas before returning to China in the New Year. He needed a swift and comfortable way of getting to and from Holland in a day, maximising quality family time and minimising time lost to travel.

Attracted to our depth of knowledge and track record in the air taxi market together with the variety of aircraft we can supply, our client made an initial request through our online quotation for a flight for four passengers on the Beech Baron. Our client was experienced in using General Aviation air taxi operators worldwide, so we were humbled by being his first choice company to provide for his requirements. [More]

by Andy Bland 26. December 2011 20:11
There is conflicting evidence as to the best and most cost effective way of getting to the London Olympic Games 2012 with minimum disruption.
Aero Alliance has researched the most efficient onward travel from arrival airports to the London Olympic village. Considering the predicted congestion and overcrowding, Aero Alliance shows that Southend and Lydd airports are two of the most efficient and cost effective alternative gateways to the London Olympics along side London City and Biggin Hill in comparison to Heathrow, Gatwick and other majors. by Andy Bland 22. December 2011 22:38
Aero Alliance issues a travel advisory to those planning to use air taxi operators to get to the Olympic Games. Air Traffic congestion and special rules airspace imposed by the UK airspace authorities mean that extra checks should be made by customers prior to making any expensive payment to Air Taxi companies. Aero Alliance is networking with a number of Air Taxi companies to ensure that the customer is well informed before making their choice. [More]
