For groups who would like to enjoy a day in France without the hassle of long ferry crossings and early morning starts, AERO ALLIANCE suggest a day trip from Shoreham to your choice of Le Touquet, Rouen, Le Havre, Deauville or Caen on our executive class PA 31 Navajo aircraft.

A typical trip to the beach resort of Le Touquet starts with your arrival at Shoreham by 9.15 am. With ample parking immediately outside the terminal and a ten minute check-in, you can expect to be in the air by 9.30 am. The route offers scenic views of Brighton, Newhaven, Seaford and Beachy Head before we set a cross-channel course from Eastbourne. Within 20 minutes of being in the air, the French coastline appears over the horizon, giving you the opportunity to take in panoramic views of the sandy beaches on the approach into Le Touquet airport.

On arrival you will be offered a complimentary bicycle for the day, but may prefer to take a 20 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride into town. The day is yours to do with as as you please. Le Touquet is a fashionable resort with boutique shops, market, restaurants, cafes, a swimming adventure centre and miles and miles of sandy beaches!

At the end of your day, after a swift check-in, you can relax and enjoy the short flight back.

Similar trips are available to Rouen, famous for its cathederal and as the place where Joan of Arc was put to death in 1431, Le Havre, Deauville (for the beaches, horse racing or film festival at Deauville or the picturesque harbour town of Honfleur) and Caen near the Normandy invasion beaches.
