On Good Friday AERO ALLIANCE was called upon to undertake an emergency repatriation of a patient from the French Alps to the United Kingdom after a very serious skiing accident.
Two AERO ALLIANCE pilots teamed up with two fully qualified air ambulance technicians to bring back this patient direct from the Alps Airport of Annecy to Humberside International Airport. The flight had to remain at low level to avoid medical complications and maximum priority and permission to transit all enroute airspace had been negotiated and arranged in advance.

Accompanying the patient was a relative and the total flight time for this repatriation was just over three hours. Both patient and relative were extremely happy with the quality and care provided by the AERO ALLIANCE team and above all the professionalism in which the repatriation was conducted.
AERO ALLIANCE is rapidly becoming one of the leading repatriation experts for patients involved in Skiing accidents and can be called upon to operate a 24 hour fast repatriation service to bring back patients which are unwell from all corners of Europe to the region of their choice in the United Kindom. AERO ALLIANCE recommend and use two pilots and two technicians on these flights to ensure that the patient's welfare is paramount and above all no chances are taken with the patient's well being when in an aviation environment.
