During the Christmas holiday period, we were tasked to fly a Hong Kong businessman and his family from Shoreham to meet Dutch friends and relatives in the town of Eelde. Our client was flying into Gatwick from Trinidad, staying with his daughter in Brighton for Christmas before returning to China in the New Year. He needed a swift and comfortable way of getting to and from Holland in a day, maximising quality family time and minimising time lost to travel.

Attracted to our depth of knowledge and track record in the air taxi market together with the variety of aircraft we can supply, our client made an initial request through our online quotation for a flight for four passengers on the Beech Baron. Our client was experienced in using General Aviation air taxi operators worldwide, so we were humbled by being his first choice company to provide for his requirements.

Our customer then asked if an additional passenger could be brought along. Whilst the Baron can easily five passengers, the five passenger range of the Baron was insufficient for the distance to Groningen/Eelde Airport and another aircraft capable of delivering this requirement had to be used.

For Aero Alliance this is not a problem, for this situation we have an off the shelf solution by having access to three Chieftain PA31s, each capable of meeting and delivering this very requirement. 24 hour access to these three aircraft also meant we had further backup should one of these aircraft go unserviceable for routine maintenance.

The aircraft we selected for our customer had two brand new engines and the interior was recently refurbished with luxury brand new leather interior seats and space for eight passengers. Thus, on this occasion the five passengers had extra cabin room for their flight direct to Holland.

The flight flight to Holland departed Shoreham (Brighton City) Airport at 09:00 on 30th December, arriving at Groningen 10:45 and the family landed back at Shoreham at 18:30 after having a great day out and were extremely delighted with the executive class service.
